Real Giving

In Matthew, Mark and Luke, 1out of every 6 verses deals with money. Of the 29 parables Christ told, 16 deal with a person and his money. Remember it all belongs to God

“Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.”  2 Corinthians 9:7

Put Tape Over It

Hello Everyone,  
So often sin is like that red warning light on the dashboard of the car. You can either stop and deal with the trouble, or just put black tape over the light.

“Woe to the rebellious children, saith the LORD, that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin:”  Isaiah 30:1

Give them Chores

Hello Everyone,
Here is something to try the next time you have folks over that don’t want to leave. Treat your guest as a guest for two days; then on the third day, give them chores.

“For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.”  2 Thessalonians 3:10
