Can't See

Hello Everyone,

Folks used to be counted on. Counted faithful. Not only is there a lack of faith but a lack of faithfulness. It has had a great impact on marriages, families, jobs, school and colleges, maintaining homes, vehicles, neighbors, the Church and God. There is no doubt that if folks aren't committed or faithful to others and responsibilities that they can see, that they are most likely not faithful and committed to God whom they can't see.

"For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day. Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus. That good thing which was committed unto thee keep by the Holy Ghost which dwelleth in us." 2 Timothy 1:12-14

Daily Plans

Hello Everyone,

Life is great when all goes well. But every now and then God butts in. And many times we aren't ready. Often we are so far out of God's will that we don't see the little things or signs that God is trying to get our attention. This is because folks are happy in their comfort zones, and everyone has them. Folks don't like being asked to do something that doesn't go right along with your daily plans. Holidays are good but they do mess with your plans and comfort zone. Smile and enjoy this time of year and keep Jesus first in all your plans.

"Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God."

Walk by Faith

Hello Everyone,

The Bible tells us much about the matter of walking by faith. A walk that everyone needs. More so in these last days. We are in need of trusting God and have faith. That should be your goal and mine. We will see some amazing things happen that will be known only that it had to come from God. We may be just ordinary folks but we have a Extra ordinary God, who can do all things.

(For we walk by faith, not by sight:) We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad." 2 Corinthains 5:7-10

Prisons

Hello Everyone,

God did not order the building of prisons. God did allow some servants to spend time in prison, dungeons and jails. God has allowed many of His servants to go to jail not because they were guilty or criminals, it was a learning process or a lesson that needed to come about and there was no other way for these folks to get this teaching. Just because something has happen in your life doesn't mean that it is God's will, but God allowed it. God has a better plan and He is control. Trust God - Have Faith.

Heavenly Glow

Hello Everyone,

Charles Spurgeon once said to a group of preacher boys, "When you preach on heaven let your face light up with a Heavenly glow. When you preach on hell, well your natural face will do." if you have been saved then you need to allow a heavenly glow show forth from your face. If you are not saved then your natural face will do, but it doesn't have to stay that way. God sent His Son Jesus to whosoever so that they too can have eternal life. The greatest thing one can doing this Christmas Season is to call upon Jesus, He will not refuse your request.

Know So

Hello Everyone,

I am always amazed by the number of folks who aren't sure if they would go to Heaven when they die. God likes for folks to know. He is not all about "hope so" "maybe so" "like to think so" or " how can anyone know for sure." God wants you to know that is why He gave us the B I B L E.

"These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God."

The Dash

Hello Everyone,

Looking upon some tombstones, you will see the date of birth and the date of death. And then there is that dash between. That dash is all that represents ones life. If you were to think about it, that dash is the only part of life that you can control. You had nothing to do with the date of your birth and most of us will have no real control over the date of our death. But that space in the middle, that period of time that we call life is under your control. What you do with it will depend upon where you will spend eternity.

"And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life." 1 John 5:11-12

Wrong Heart

Hello Everyone,

Folks are hard to figure out. I am amazed by the number of folks who are against right and stand up for wrong. They have a wrong heart. The trouble with wrong hearts is that it comes in may forms, you can have the right heart for one thing and a wrong heart for another, if you are not careful. The way we approach sin, address sin, cover up sin, discuss sin, make little over sin can cause you to have a wrong view which can lead to a wrong heart. Wrong hearts are not in tune with God.

"And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ. But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons." Colossians 3:23-25

Just a Coincidence

Hello Everyone,

I wrote a tract many years ago called, "Just a Coincidence" So often folks declare things that happen in their life as a coincidence. Many believe that most of what is written in the Bible is just a coincidence. With God there is no such thing as a coincidence. God knows what He is doing, for God does all things well. It is important for you to know that it was not a coincidence for God to send His only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to die on an old rugged cross. There was a need and God meet that need through the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Amen!

"For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." John 3:17,18

Mistakes

Hello Everyone,

I told a fellow the other day that the Bible is full of mistakes. He looked at me like he just saw a ghost. I went on to say, Eve made a mistake listening to the serpent. Moses made a mistake hitting the rock, Lot made a mistake by going to Sodom, the Jews made a mistake by not recognizing Jesus as the Messiah. David made a mistake by not being in the battle, the Devil made a mistake thinking that he could keep Jesus in the grave. Scoffer are making a mistake by thinking that Jesus is not coming back. And you will make the greatest mistake of all, if you think you get to heaven on your good works.

"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." Ephesians 2:8,9

Withered

Hello Everyone,

I watched a fellow who had a hand that was withered, maybe from polio. His one hand was almost useless to him. Now the thing that came to my mind is this, because his hand is withered you expect him to not be able to handle some things right. What is your excuse? How often do folks mishandle things with two good hands? God has blessed you with good hands, see that you use them right for His glory.

SAFE

Hello Everyone,

We are afraid of everything mainly because everything today has a warning label on it. All these warnings are to scare you and I to believing that nothing is safe. We can not trust medicine, politicians, police, lawyers, bakery goods, milk, paint on toys, alarms, drinks, books, TV, radio, processed food, dried meats, whole grain nor churches. Did I miss anything? Yet I tell you I am not afraid, you can't scare me, I am safe. I am not safe in any of these things but I am SAFE in Jesus.

Think on These

Hello Everyone,

There is a movie called Peter Pan. Peter is in the children's bedroom; they have seen him fly; and they want to fly also. They gave it their best from the floor and then they tried it from the bed and the result was failure. "How do you do it?" one of them asked. And Peter answered: "You just think lovely, wonderful thoughts and they lift you up in the air." You know that can apply to believers. One way to defeat evil thoughts is to begin to think of something else, like Jesus.

"Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things." Philippians 4:8

Creation

Hello Everyone,

We have in Northern Kentucky a Creation Museum. Folks from all over are coming by to see a museum dedicated to the creation of God. For God did create all things. Amen! Yet we have also a group of folks who protest it daily. Why is it that they are so set against anything that has to do with God? For I have good news, everyone that dies is a believer. You can count on that.

"For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools," Romans 1:20-22

Complaining

Hello Everyone,

My son was complaining to me about the shower head not being in the same place every time he uses the shower. He feels that it should stay in the same place. What then would be the use of having a portable shower head if you can't use it? I told him that I felt that he should use some of his energy to find solutions instead of complaints. A real optimism is aware of problems but recognizes that there is a solution. They know about difficulties but believes they can be overcome them. Many times they have reason to complain but chooses to smile and work toward a resolve.

"I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." Philippians 4:12,13

Hello Everyone,

Have you ever seen something that someone has made out of used match sticks? I saw a whole village made out of match sticks. I am sure that it was a time consuming project by the details of every home, barn, fence and trees. I have asked myself how can someone find that much time to invest in such a project. I then realize once again, you will do what you want to do. Amen.

Lazy Lazy

Hello Everyone,

Let me ask you a question. What would make a cat with a bowl full of food, rip open a bag of cat food? Dirty rotten cat. I can't believe it. No kidding there was a full bowl of food and one of those cats that belong to my wife and sons ripped open a new bag of cat food and scattered it all over the floor. What really made me mad there was no one home at the time. So I waited until someone got home and showed them the mess. I just knew that they would not believe it without seeing it. Then I had them to clean it up. She said something about me being lazy, I said that I did it in brotherly love. Amen

Burdens

Hello Everyone,

Along life highway things happen. I am sure that you know this. Things happen that rock our world. Things that we wished had not happen. Things that causes us to stop and reevaluate. And things that just get under our skin. Each things can be handle with ease individually. But it when we allow them to accumulate that gets us down. No one really sinks under the burden of the day. It is when we add the burdens of the next day and the next day that the weight becomes more than a one can bear.

Confused

Hello Everyone,

I was trying my best to get some information with a church about an upcoming event. There was some time changes and schedule adjustments that was in need of me checking to see if it interfered with my schedule. I am a very busy fellow you know. The only real answer I could get was to go to their web site. Great! So when I got home I brought up their web site and guess what? I was just as confused as I was before. Folks the church ought not be confused. Amen!

Our Weapons

Hello Everyone,

If we take the time to closely examine our weapons we will find that they are invisible and intangible. These spiritual weapons are accessible and active everywhere -- they are not subject to territorial limitations. They cross all borders freely because they are passed vertically, from above. These weapons cannot be destroyed by listening devices, by electronics, nor by prisons! Our weapons are powerful, because the Lord God is acting on our behalf! Prayer nor faith, neither trust nor righteousness have been taken from us. Nothing at all can be taken, because these weapons are made powerful by God!

(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;"

Choose Me

Hello Everyone,

Remembering that God does all things well, I am reminded of a Sunday School teacher was teaching a group of teenage boys one Sunday about Christ's disciples; about their abilities, their attributes, and why Jesus might have chosen them. Toward the end of the lesson a teen-aged boy who was particularly enthralled about the whole concept of calling, chosen by God, said, "Teacher, why did Jesus choose Judas?" To which the Sunday school teacher replied, "Son, I don't know. But I have a harder question. Why did Jesus choose me?"

Anxiety

Hello Everyone,

Anxiety is very common with folks these days. Most of the folks that I know that have a lot of anxiety is based upon things that never happen. It is like the patient in the mental hospital, holding his ear close to the wall, listening intently. The attendant finally approached. "Sh!" whispered the patient, calling him over. The attendant put his ear to the wall for a long time. "I can't hear a thing," he finally said. "No," replied the patient, "it's been like that all day!"
I believe anxiety can be traced to worry or consecrating too much on the "What If!" No one knows what a day will bring, God is still in control. Amen, Let God handle it

Stress

Hello Everyone,

According to article in the Mayo Clinic stated that statistically 80 percent to 85 percent of their total case load were ill either in reality or artificially due directly to mental stress. It stated something from an article in a leading medical journal entitled, "Is Stress the Cause of All Disease?" The author of the article says that at the beginning of the century, bacteria were considered to be the center of attention. Today, mental stress has replaced bacteria.

God can Handle it

Hello Everyone

When my sons were very little, we were walking back to house from the garden. I was carrying a bucket full of tomatoes. When one of them asked if he could carry it. I told him that I would take care of it. But he insisted that he could carry it. I told him that it was heavy and that I can handle it. He again made it clear that he wanted to help me and carry the bucket. So I gave in. Just the look on his face made me aware that he did not know that it was that heavy. So he struggled and proclaims that it was indeed heavy. "I told you that it was heavy and that I could handle it." After another step or two he asked, "Can you take this?"
I have never forgotten how God spoke to my heart with this remembrance. How often do we try to carry those things that we can't carry because they are too heavy. "God, can you carry this?" "Sure, I can handle it."

"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." Matthew 11:28-30

Huddle Together

Hello Everyone,

Its football season again. As I was watching it hit me that 11 men were huddle together to come up with a plan to more the ball forward. At the same time 11 men are making plans to try to stop the forward movement. Isn't that really what we are doing in our church prayer meetings. Praying to come up with a plan to move forward against the wiles of the devil? At times we may seem to be stagnate. But, let me encourage you, keep on praying and keeping on moving forward. Jesus is coming soon.

Your Worth

Hello Everyone,

I am often reminded of Job. Job was a real soldier for God. You and I should not think it strange when you desire to serve God and then seem to encounter a severe time of testing. God's purpose in testing is to make the each of us more valuable. Listen a $5.00 bar of steel cut into ordinary horseshoes is worth $10. Just as well $5.00 bar of steel cut into needles is worth $350.00. Then that same bar of steel cut into delicate springs for watches becomes worth $250,000.00. Now that is something to remember the next time you get discouraged at what God is allowing you to go through. No telling just really how much you are worth.

"Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God; Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began," 2 Timothy 2:8,9

Breaking Problems

Hello Everyone,

When I first became a foreman over the machine shop, my boss told me that every problem was an opportunity. Did not make much sense to me then. What I have found is that the only folks I know that have no problems are in the cemetery. The more problems you have, the more alive you are. Every problem has within it, the seeds of its own solution. When the Lord wants to give you the greatest value in this world, He doesn't wrap it in a pretty package and hand it to you on a silver platter. He takes this big value and buries it at the heart of a big, tough problem. Everybody I've ever known who succeeded in a big way in life has done so by breaking problems apart and finding the value that was there.

One Rose

Hello Everyone,

Rose are so beautiful and now can anyone not enjoy their smell. (Unless you are allergic) An old Christina friend of mine told me to have price smelling and beautiful roses one must concentrate all the strength of the plant in one or two blooms. If we would allow it to bear all the flowers it could, none would be worth showing. If you want a prize specimen, you must be content with one or two blooms instead of a score. He went on to explain to for the same reason, God sends trials to prune from our lives the useless blooms of self, popularity, and comfort, so that He may perfect in us one exquisite white blossom of holiness.

Recycling

Hello Everyone,

They are repaving one of the busiest roads in town and boy it is a mess. However they are doing in one half the time it used to take. Now listen they come along first and rip up the old black top and reprocess it by heating it up to certain degree and putting it right back on the same road, only this time a lot smoother. Recycling at its best. The Lord likes to do the same for you and me, if we will allow it. God can take our old mistakes and turn them around to be a benefits to not only us to others as well. Praise the Lord for recycling.

God knows Best

Hello Everyone,

I watched and I am sure that you have seen it happen as well, a man walking his dog and its leash gets wrapped around a pole. The dog tries to continue running forward, but only tighten the leash more. Both the dog and the owner were wanting to do the same thing, to go forward. But the owner must resist the dog by pulling him back in the opposite direction. The master, having the same intention but with a better understanding than the dog, takes an action in the opposite direction of the dog's will. With this in mind, I think I now have a better understanding of that God, at times, has to do for you and me.

"Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:" 1 Peter 1:6,7

Veterans Day

Hello Everyone,

Let me encourage each of you to take the time to thank a veteran today. Much of what we enjoy and many times take for granted can be traced back to these veterans. Each soldier you see, deserves your taking the time to first of all - pray for them. Then shaking their hands and tell them personally how thankful you are. And if the Lord leads buy them a cup of coffee or a meal. I wished that I could tell what it meant to my dad and my son. Thank you Lord for these true Heroes.

Good Fruit

Hello Everyone,

A few years back someone gave my wife a tulip tree. It was suppose to be one of those flowering kind. But It did not bloom the first year nor the second. My wife was some what disappointed. But I told her let it grow another year maybe it will flower out. Next year has now come and gone and still no flowers. She looked at me and said that I guess the Lord doesn't want us to have a flowering tulip tree. Praise the Lord, cause it was growing too close to the house anyway and its branches were starting wear marks on the sliding. So down it goes with the reminder that God does all things well. Amen

Low-Medium-High

Hello Everyone,

In my office is a lamb that has three "ON" position and one "OFF." It is designed for these light bulbs that have three different brightness. Low - medium - high. Yet there is only one off. I was thinking that could be Christians. Low - medium - high - off. Let me ask, which position are you? If we were honest with ourselves we could all say that we have fit into every position at one time or another on our life's journey. Amen

Dismiss Him

Hello Everyone,

While building a new gate for our backyard I asked my son for help. He agreed and there he was. All the time I was working and trying to get him to do one thing or another. He would pause and text someone. At first that was okay. But then it got to where I was beginning to get upset. All my commands were met with "I sorry what did you say?" I wanted to dismiss him but I really did need his help. Then it hit me, I wonder how often we do God the same way. "I am sorry what did you say?" Thinking that saying we are sorry will solve everything.

Thank God

Hello Everyone,

I know you will have a hard time believing that God allows things to happen for a good reason. Praise the Lord a man fell out of a cherry picker while trimming tree branches. I am not sure how far he fell, but it just about killed him. The first time I visited him in the hospital, I was not too confident that he would make it. After a week of praying, I returned to an alert man. We had never met before and as soon as he found out who I was, that the church and I have been praying for him, he declared that he needed to get saved. So he called upon the Lord to save him. Afterwards he told me that he thought he was going to die. And he knew that he would go to hell. He then said, "Thank God for allowing me to fall and almost killing myself." I say Amen, God wants all to be saved.

"The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." 2 Peter 3:9

Prepared of God

Hello Everyone,

The great thing about being in the ministry is that you have to learn as you go. There is no way you an be taught or have any clue to what is going to happen. It reminds me of when my wife and I had our first son. When they laid that boy in my arms I was perplexed. What was I going to do? I had no experience nor much knowledge about being a dad. Yet with time and willingness I soon became comfortable with this new roll that I giving by God. Another reason I know that God does all things well.

Saved by Grace

Hello Everyone,

I was out the other day with a very liberal person. I am sure that he thought that I was just nuts, I thought that he was. He is a very smart man with a doctors degree in something. He was a pastor of a church for many years. However his views did not match up biblically. The last thing I shared with him was that I was glad that I al saved by grace through faith in Jesus and Jesus alone. He smiled and had nothing really to say after words. But I am glad that I am saved by grace. Amen!

Trust God

Hello Everyone,

What would you do if God were to ask you to make a sacrifice like He asked Abraham? Many of us will never know because we lack faith and obedience. I am afraid that there will be many mountain top experiences missing for most of us because our faith is weak and our obedience is poor.

Thanks

Hello Everyone,

It has been over one year now since I started Beulah Land Bible Baptist Blog. I have noticed that I have written a little over 250 blogs. It does not seem that long ago that we were introduced to the blog as a ministry. I remember thinking that I would most likely never get a hang of this. Who would have known that an old preacher could still be trained to do more in the ministry. God knew and to Him I give thanks. And I also thank each and everyone of you that have been a faithful reader and encouragement. For I certainly could not have done it by myself. Thanks again

No Plowing

Hello Everyone,

Returning from Sunday School one day, where the Ten Commandments had been the topic, our young son asked his father, "Daddy, what does it mean when it says, 'Thou shalt not commit agriculture'?" There was hardly a beat between the question and dad's smooth reply: "Son, that just means that you're not supposed to plow the other man's field," an answer satisfactory to both of them.

"Thou shalt not commit adultery. Thou shalt not steal. Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour. Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour’s." Lying

Hello Everyone,

A boy visited his aunt, who reprimanded him for telling a fib. "Do you know," she warned, "what happens to little boys who tell fibs?" "No, what, Aunty?" he asked. "Well," she said, "there is a man up in the moon, a little green man with just one eye, who sweeps down in the middle of the night and flies away to the moon with little boys who tell lies and makes them pick up sticks all the rest of their lives. Now you won't tell lies any more, will you, for it's awfully, awfully naughty."

Small Dot

Hello Everyone,

I shared one day an illustration of a blank sheet of paper and asked, "What do you see?" The reply was, "A piece of paper." I then placed the paper on the podium, made a tiny dot in the center and held it up again. "What do you see now?" "A dot," was the unanimous reply from the audience. Supposing the small dot you saw is someone's biggest fault. The white surrounding the dot represents all of this person's good qualities which we so easily fail to see. Often a fault seems bigger than it really is and we allow it determine our relationship with that person.

Enjoy Life

Hello Everyone,

As I look upon a clock in my office I am reminded of something that I had not seen nor thought of before. There are three hands, each moving in the same direction. Each at their own pace. Life can be represented by these three hands. The second hand is those who are in a hurry. The minute hand represents those who take a minute or wait a minute. The hour hand is those who have gotten it all figured out. Life is valuable, take time to enjoy it.

"Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that." James 4:14,15

Are you ready?

Hello Everyone,

This has been a week of death. I visited a funeral for a young lady, that cancer had taking over her body. Two runs with the Fire Department found two dead. One was 80 and the other was 30. You never know what a day will bring, only that tomorrow will come with or without you. The question will always be, are you ready? Eternity is next.

JOY

Hello Everyone,

I was sharing with some little ones about how important it is to obey God. It is hard to get them to understand that God comes first, then others and them themselves. Because they are not seeing it practiced too much at home, in the schools or from others. But real JOY is wrapped up in "J" Jesus - "O" Others - "Y" You. It is only when you learn the true meaning of this little word that you will start to become more like Jesus. And being Christ-like is what Christian means.

The Beauty of the Lord

Hello Everyone,

Fall has jump right in and made himself known. The nights got darker and colder quick. It seems to have caught everyone off guard. Even the trees, act as though they did not know that they were suppose to be changing colors. But how they have changed. No one paints like God paints.

Getting Ready

Hello Everyone,

Each passing year we are to grow closer to the Lord. Christianity would be a pointless journey if we failed to show any improvement on our walk with the Lord. We should have a greater love for the saints and a greater desire to please God. As our knowledge grows our knowledge of godly things should grow. We are getting prepared here for eternity there. Amen!

God Touch Them

Hello Everyone,

The Bible tells us that David had a sling in his hand. Moses had a rod. Shamgar had an ox goad and Elisha had Elijah's cloak. Each had something naturally but they allowed God to use in a supernatural way. What ever our talents or gift may be (naturally speaking) would be supernatural if only we will allow God to touch them and direct us as how to use them. To God be the glory. Amen

Did on Purpose

Hello Everyone,

I heard the story of a cowpoke that was applying for some insurance. The insurance agent began quizzing him, "Have you ever had any accidents?" After a moment's reflection, the cowpoke responded, "Nope, but a bronco did kick in two of my ribs last summer, and a couple of years ago a rattlesnake bit me on the ankle." "Wouldn't you call those accidents?" asked the agent. "Naw," replied the ranch hand, "They did it on purpose!" In a sense the cowboy had a point; it all depends on how you look at it. I wonder how many times what we have called an accident, was really done on purpose?

A Lie

Hello Everyone,

A little boy asked his mother, "Mommy, what is a lie?" His mother answered, "Son, a lie is an abomination unto the Lord ... but a very present help in time of need!" Sad to say too often we teach a similar pattern to our children. Let's be careful to model clearly what we teach with our lips. We live in a world full of lies. Let it not be once named of you as a Christian.

Feeling Guilty

Hello Everyone,

The IRS sent me a letter and wanted to talk to me about my tax return. Boy just seeing that letter started to make me sweat. So we got our papers together and made our way to the IRS office at the assigned time. It seems that someone there had made a mistake in transforming our deductions by 39,000 dollars. It was not our fault, we were relieved, but I sure did feel guilty anyway. I just knew that it was something that we had forgotten. That taught me a lesson. Before I go to bed at night, I try to make sure that I had not forgotten some sin to ask forgiveness for or something that I needed to be sure to do. I don't like feeling guilty.

"If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us." 1 John 1:8-10

No man knows

Hello Everyone,

There was a fellow back in 1980's that gave 88 reasons that the rapture would be in 1988. It did not happen. He then predicted the rapture would come September 1, 1989. It did not happen, either. He is now retired from writing books and give up making predictions. God has a way of making fools out folks who try to set dates. Yet still today so many believers will fall for this age old problem of date setting that Jesus clearly warned that the day and the hour will no man know.

"But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only." Matthew 24:36

Reflections

Hello Everyone,

I was studying a picture that an artist painted that showed the reflection in the water of the mountain in the background. When the water is unruffled and clear, it reflects most beautifully the floating clouds and the snow topped mountains. But when the water is agitated, because of the storms of life, it loses its power of reflection. So it is with the life of Christians; when clear and lively, how strong and beautiful are its reflections of the things of God. But when the storms of life come or the corruption of sin is present, its clearness disappears, and the spiritual things of God are not clearly seen. By faith we are to trust God, even when we can't see God in the reflections.

Listen carefully, if you desire the liberty to go into the house of treasures, one must first seek the keys wherewith to open the doors. Amen? So, if we desire to be enriched in God's Word, we must first labor by faith. Faith is the only key of God's treasure house, and secures us all graces needful both for body and soul. AMEN

Guaranteed

Hello Everyone,

"Guaranteed" How many things have you purchased that have a guarantee? Some have limited guarantees. Some have conditional guarantees. Some even have lifetime as long as you own - guarantees. As a matter of fact, these guarantees are what help you to make your decisions of which one to buy. Depending upon the guarantee, it will at times cause you to pay more just so that you can have a guarantee. Having a guarantee can help ease the mind and create better sleeping at night.
Truthfully we all can get by without some of these guarantees. And at times they are a waste of money. But you can not get into Heaven without Jesus. That I can guarantee you.

Thy Will

Hello Everyone,

A dear friend of mine called and shared with me that this lady that he had been dating maybe the one. I asked what made him think so. And he went through a series of traits that he loves about her. He said that he thinks about her all the time and that he really enjoys being around her. He thinks he wants to spend the rest of his life with her. I think that is awesome however, he is missing the main thing. Is she God's will for his life? Is she the one God wants and have sent his way? Most folks will answer yes after I ask this question. Way too many never mention it before.

Inventions

Hello Everyone,

Have you ever seen where someone invented or made something and thought I wished I had thought of that? So many new inventions are making our life easier. Now I am not sure if that is good or bad. (But I do like elevators.) I saw the other day where a lady invented self tying shoes. That's right all you do is hit a button and they tie themselves. No having to reach down and wear yourself out by having to tie your own shoes laces. Of course they do require batteries and you still have to put them on first. No telling what is coming next. Maybe Self zipping zippers? I wished I had thought of that.

Water!

Hello Everyone,

We are forever talking about the high prices of things. One area that gets to me is Bottled water. Many times selling for $2.00 a bottle. I just can't bring myself to paying that much for bottles water. I know that it is suppose to be better for you. Because it is all natural and comes from underground springs that purifies itself with mineral that we are in need of. Okay but that makes that water about $16.00 a gallon. Hmmm, and we are mad at BP!

Responding

Hello Everyone,

I was sitting in a chair minding my own business when out of no where came this voice behind me. "Are you still writing those devotionals?" "Yes, as the Lord leads." I answered. They continued, "I wanted to thank you, for they mean so much to me, I really enjoy them. Although I don't ever respond." I smiled as they walked away. Then a few minutes alter another came to me and said almost the same thing. I smiled and thanked the Lord, for using me to touch the hearts of others.

Seeing Farther

Hello Everyone,

When I have the opportunity to go into the woods I go. I love it. I can't tell you how many times I have been walking in the woods and think I will be able to see farther once I get over that ridge. Once there, there would almost always be another ridge to climb or get over. Thinking I have only to get over that ridge and I will be able to see better. I am reminded that once you go as far as you can see, and when you get there you will never be able to see all that can be seen.

Faith is much the same way. Once you have gone as far as you can see, you realize that there is so much more that you can not see. So you have to trust God by FAITH.

Going Forward

Hello Everyone,

As pastor, I am forever trying to help folks get to where they need to be. It is a full time job. Once the Lord shows me the need for someone I then start to do what ever it takes to push, pull or drag them to the next level. Many times I feel like the pastor of that paratrooper, who was asked, how many jumps he had made. He responded by saying, "None! I was pushed out 18 times!" For some Christians, that story describes their initiative or lack thereof.

"And it shall be, when ye are come nigh unto the battle, that the priest shall approach and speak unto the people, And shall say unto them, Hear, O Israel, ye approach this day unto battle against your enemies: let not your hearts faint, fear not, and do not tremble, neither be ye terrified because of them; For the LORD your God is he that goeth with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you." Failures

Hello Everyone,

Failure is never pleasant. It certainly isn't enjoyable to lose a job, see a relationship falter, or even fail a spelling test. But the immediate disappointment we feel when we face defeat can be turned into the joy of success if we take the right attitude. Your attitude has much to do with life's failures. Trust God and Have Faith. With God on your side you can never remain a failure.

Preach the Word

Hello Everyone,

More than a hundred years ago D. L. Moody lashed out as a loving critic to certain parts of the church of his time for its misappropriation of energies. The church reminded him, he said, of firemen straightening pictures on the wall of a burning house. In a single sentence he drew a vivid picture of what any of us can become in any generation when we forget the basic activities given to us by the Lord of the church.

Pot Holes

Hello Everyone,

I was traveling along life highway when all of the sudden out of no where I hit a pot hole that about jarred my teeth loose. Where did that come from? Someone really needs to mark that spot or get it fixed. Someone could get killed or end up in the hospital.

What a warning for each of us in life. If one reaches a dangerous pot hole or spot in the road, they should put up a sign to mark that spot. By this, not only are we guarding our future movements, but furnished a warning to others who might pass that way. This is the benefit one generation derives from another.

"That the generation to come might know them, even the children which should be born; who should arise and declare them to their children: That they might set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments:" Psalms 78:6,7

Dicisions

Hello Everyone,

The story was told about President Ronald Reagan learned the need for decision making early in his life. A kindly aunt had taken him to a cobbler to have a pair of shoes custom-made for him. The shoemaker asked, "Do you want a round toe or a square toe?" Young Ronald hemmed and hawed, so the cobbler said, "Come back in a day or two and tell me what you want." A few days later the cobbler saw young Reagan on the street and asked what he had decided about the shoes. "I haven't made up my mind," Reagan answered. "Very well," said the cobbler. "Your shoes will be ready tomorrow." When Reagan got the shoes, one had a round toe and the other a square toe. President Reagan, "Looking at those shoes every day taught me a lesson. If you don't make your own decisions, somebody else makes them for you."
I want to encourage you decide on Jesus today why there is time. By not deciding will be your decision. No decision will not be the right decision when it comes to Heaven or Hell.

"I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:"

Hello Everyone,

What motivates you? Was the question of a friend to another who was going through tough times. This one had no motivation at all, he was depressed and defeated without even putting up a good fight. Let me share with you a good motivation is having family and good friends to push us forward. And help us to put our enemies behind us. No better friend than Jesus.

"It is God that avengeth me, and subdueth the people under me. He delivereth me from mine enemies: yea, thou liftest me up above those that rise up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man. Finders Keepers

Hello Everyone,

When we were little we had a saying, "Finders keepers - Loser weepers." You may have heard of it. We were quick to say this when it came to finding money. Many times if one found a dollar and yelled "Finders keepers - Loser weepers." another would yell "I just lost a dollar", to try to get it away from the finder.
Eternal life is made of two groups. Finders and losers. Those who know and have found Jesus Christ as their Saviour will never be a Loser weeper. Yet it is not God's will that anyone should lose eternally. For God sent His Son to make all of us WINNERS.

Safe Trip

Hello Everyone,

I don't like to drive by a see that someone has had an accident. It messes up your day. However one be thankful that there was no one hurt or killed. Yet we should be thankful everyday we have that there is no accident. We should thank God for the safe trip even to the corner store. God is worthy of all our thanks. Amen

Memory Sticks

Hello Everyone,

The computer is wonderful tool. But can be a problem when it does all the deciding. Mine decided to stop. He had me over a barrel, there was nothing I could do. I found out hitting it and sweet talking it would not bring the results I was wanting. I tried calling in others and their knowledge was of no use either. So off to the repair shop, where it was diagnosed that the memory sticks had gone bad. "Memory sticks" What are sticks doing in my computer and how did they get there? I am so glad that there are no memory sticks between God and me.

Stand By

Hello Everyone,

Abraham was setting at his tent one day and the Lord showed up. Immediately after seeing them he sprang into action to serve them. His reaction serves as a good example for you and me. You never know when the Lord is going to show up. Abraham ministered to their needs with quickness, he sprang up and bow his face to the ground. He then hurried to gather up the best that he had. The thing that I want you to notice today is that after serving the Lord, the Bible says he stood by them. Staying close to the Lord is always good.

"And Abraham hastened into the tent unto Sarah, and said, Make ready quickly three measures of fine meal, knead it, and make cakes upon the hearth. And Abraham ran unto the herd, and fetched a calf tender and good, and gave it unto a young man; and he hasted to dress it. And he took butter, and milk, and the calf which he had dressed, and set it before them; and he stood by them under the tree, and they did eat." Genesis 18:6-8

Get the Round Around

Hello Everyone,

I was reading the Bible in Matthew 9 where Jesus had just left Jarius' house and was walking along when He hears the cry of two blind men. He stopped and called for them. The two blind men realized that they had a great need and had heard of this Jesus who could meet their need. They made their request in the right attitude, in the right way, to the right person. There is nothing more aggravating than to get the run around. Thank God when folks come to Jesus they don't get the round around. Amen.

"And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord. Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you." Matthew 9:28-29

God Does all things Well

Hello Everyone,

I was moaning the other day about something personal. I guess folks could read it on my face. So a young lady started telling me that everything is going to be okay. She stated that life is never easy and things come and things go. She had such a sweet smile on her face and shared a little about how life has not been fair and somehow she was able to make it. She went on to say that she still does not like all that is going on in her life but she has accepted for now, at least until she can afford the change. I looked at her and smiled and did not have the heart to tell her that I was a pastor. God does all things well. Amen

Fix It

Hello Everyone,

Life is full of hurts. There is death, disappointments, relationships, health, spiritual and of course just everyday stuff. For me the greater hurt is seeing one that I love going through some sort of hurt. I want so much to fix it. When our boys were growing up, they would always bring things to me to be fixed. Now that they are much older, they don't need me to fix it. Yet the hurts are still coming. So I find myself having to turn it all over the my Father, who can fix it. God can do all things. Amen

Safe Guard

Hello Everyone,

I saw on the news where a young 24 year old man was killed by a bear. It was told that the bear was kept in a cage and was a real gentle and a friendly animal. Then, for reasons they don't know, the bear just went off and started mauling this young man. The owner of the bear said that, he wished that they would not have killed the bear. That the young man that was killed by the bear knew the consequences of being around the bear. I was wondering if he was feeling more sorrow for the bear that young man?
No matter how man tries to train wild animals they are still wild animals and they can and will resort back to their old nature. There must be safe guards in place at all times. Same applies to the human nature, "for all have sinned." The Safe guard must be kept in place at all times. For those who are saved - The safe guard is Jesus Christ.

"And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. I and my Father are one." John 10:28-30

Hope

Hello Everyone,

I met a little girl and her name was Hope. I told her she had a very pretty name. And she told me that her daddy named her Hope, because he was hoping to have a boy. Then you should have seen that smile on her face. It melted my heart and I told her, I know your daddy would not take a dozen boys for you right now. She just smiled and said, Yea, he loves me the most. There is nothing so powerful as knowing that your father loves you the most.

Just Do It - Right

Hello Everyone,

I received a lot of feed back on my devotional about "Just Do It." And I am thankful for it. Most of it was positive and worthy to be passed along. So with that in mind, I want to pass this along to you. If you are going to "Just Do It." Then go ahead and "Just do it - Right." Amen. That which needs to be done needs to done right. When raising children for the Lord, just do it right. Keep them close and in church and the Word of God. I promise you will be glad you did.

Pass it Along

Hello Everyone,

A man came to me and asked to borrow a wheel barrow. I could meet his need because I too do not own a wheel barrow. You can not pass along or give to others something that you don't have. Surely you understand that. My heart is sadden and broken for the children of today. They live with parents with such ungodly lifestyles and they are passing that along to their children. One young man said that he knew that he should be going to church, but his mother doesn't go. One young lady said that she was tried of all these rules and restrictions that she is made to keep. Her mother doesn't apply any of the in her life. Again, You can not pass along or give to others something that you don't have. Could I get you to stop and think about hat it is that you are passing along to others?

"Give ear, O my people, to my law: incline your ears to the words of my mouth. I will open my mouth in a parable: I will utter dark sayings of old: Which we have heard and known, and our fathers have told us. We will not hide them from their children, showing to the generation to come the praises of the LORD, and his strength, and his wonderful works that he hath done."

Things are Different

Hello Everyone,

We live in the days where folks are trying to make all things equal or the same. Yet, God made things different. God made male and female, white and black, yes and no, up and down, left and right, over and under, Heaven and Hell. Each is different and not the same thing. The greatest difference among folks is there are those who are saved and those who are not. God know which you are and so do you. And there is a difference or at least there should be. What you are will make a difference on others. Just what kind of difference are you making anyway?

"But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. And of some have compassion, making a difference:" Jude 1:20-22

Stuff

Hello Everyone,

Is bigger always better? In one of our bathrooms, I built a larger closet. The other closet just wasn't big enough. So we had the extra room and we built onto the closet space. The other morning was getting into this closet and it was jammed packed. So is bigger better? We build bigger and what has it gotten us? Bigger garages - more stuff. Bigger sheds - more stuff. Bigger homes - more stuff. Bigger yards - more stuff. On and on we go with more stuff. Stuff that we will one day soon leave behind. Then it will be someone elses stuff. Can't take it with you. Hmmm.

"Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also." Triumph

Hello Everyone,

I had a busy week full of trials and troubles. I tell you when you get those days behind you, you are thankful. Thankful because you know that God had to gotten you through again. God is good to do that. Amen. As one fellow told me, he was trying to stay focused on the good and not the bad. I told him that he needed to spend less time watching the news and more time reading the Bible. He assured me that he would try.
Someone told me "The difference between try and triumph - is just a little umph." I don't think he got it. I hope all your trying becomes triumphs.

Just do it

Hello Everyone,

One of the hardest things I have had trouble with in these days is motivating the younger folks. I have found that their motivation lack is due a lot to their parent's lack of motivation. Someone told me that you can not build a reputation on what you are going to do. You have to do it. There was a slogan and it escapes me who it was, that said, "Just do it." My son came to me wanting to put off a chore that I had given him. I told him no excuse "Just do it." Many times the time spent trying to get out of something is more than the time needed to "Just do it."
I was sharing the need with a young man about being saved. He told me that he knows that he needs to and will do it someday. I tried to encourage him, please don't let it go too long. In other words "Just do it."

"For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me." Romans 7:19-20

Don't Dare

Hello Everyone,

School has started and the roads are crowded with folks getting their children to school. Now these folks have a new look on their faces. A look of where am I suppose to go and how do I get there? Some of these new concerned looks are scary. The one lady that looked at me, looked at though she was daring me to get into her way. I saw several smile of those who were walking their children to school. Therefore I have come to the conclusion that it is the vehicles we drive that makes us a totally difference creature.

Going Overboard

Hello Everyone,

I was sharing with the church that when we find ourselves in the storm of life we get so wrapped up at looking at the big storm when we ought to be looking at our Big God. My God is bigger than any storm of life that comes along. So often folks start to throw overboard things that they are going to need to hang onto. Many storms find folks throwing their obedience overboard, then comes their care and testimony. What concerned Jesus was that when He and His disciples were in the ship and a storm come upon them, the disciples thought that they would perish. After waking Jesus, He arose and rebuked the wind and said, "Peace, be still." And there was a great calm. Then Jesus asked, "Why are you so fearful? How is it that ye have no FAITH?" The reason Jesus asked was because He knew that they had thrown their faith overboard and He knew that they were going to need that. Amen

"And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?" Mark 4:39-40

Big God

Hello Everyone,

I have been sharing with Betty a lot in this last week or so about how awesome God is in all things. We have had a week of several trials and troubles. And I have been busy reminding the storms of life and troubles of everyday just how big my God is. I have been paying less attention to how big these storms are and telling these storms just how big my God is. Hey, who can out do that?

Envying

Hello Everyone,

I guess that everyone envy another's blessings. I must admit that I find myself jealous of things more so when I am without. When my car breaks down I wished that had a new car like a neighbor. Same applies for my lawn movers, clothing, hair, teeth, etc. I passed a car that was broke down on the side of the road today and it reminded me to pray for those who are less fortunate and going through trials and troubles. Although you may not have all that you want, God said that He would meet your need. With that in mind I find myself not envying or getting so jealous. I thank God for the windows of blessing of each day.

No More

Hello Everyone,

They have these new cameras that once you take a picture you have a viewing screen to see if you like it or not. I call it the "No more" camera. Once you view the picture you just took, and you don't like it you can just do it over. "No more" mistakes - but there is no more excuses either. Wouldn't your life be a little better, if you could just go back and do it over? For those of us who are saved, we will one day soon, live in a place called Heaven - A home of "No mores." No more sin, pain, sorrow, death, mistakes, cancer, tragedies .......

Secret Agent

Hello Everyone,

A little boy had a dog, and somebody asked him what kind of dog he was. He was just a mongrel, but the little fellow said, “Well, he’s a police dog.” The friend said, “He doesn't look like a police dog.” The little guy replied, “He’s in the secret service.” I'm afraid that there are way too many folks who are in the secret service.

Being Prepared

Hello Everyone,

It has been said that it takes two to speak the truth. One to speak and another to listen. To have great poets there must be a great audience. Someone to write and someone to appreciate. How listen to have a great message from God, there must be a well prepared spokesman and there must be an equally well prepared congregation. Are you going to do your part this Sunday Church services? If not - why not?

Straightened Out

Hello Everyone,

I heard a father say that he was going to straighten his son out once they get home. Getting straightened out is good but staying straightened out is another thing. We live in a world that is crook and getting more crook each passing year. And the need grows stronger for this world to get straightened out and in your individual lives as well. You need to keep your affairs, acquaintances, abundances, accomplishes and abilities straightened out. With that you can then administer to the many others that need to be straightened out. But is all starts with you and I.

Angry

Hello Everyone,

I was sitting beside this coke machine. I watch as folks placed their money in and make a selection. For $1.00 you can have delivered any one of the 8 different kinds of soda. All was going well until one fellow could not get the drink he wanted, so he kicked and beat on the machine. He was really give it a hard time. And I thought it is a machine, it doesn't understand. It only does what it is suppose to do. It then hit me that is what so many folks do when things don't get what they want in life. They get mad and upset. What I think we need to remember is Who it is we are getting mad and upset with, it is God.

Hello Everyone,

Is there something happening in your life for which you have no explanation, but long for answers? Ask God to give you peace and grace to trust Him. Have you ever find yourself asking WHY? WHY? WHY? Listen we may never understand why things happen the way they do in your life. But that is not your job to know. It is not necessary for you to know why, your response is all that matters. When you can't feel the hand of God on you, then you must trust God with all your heart. Our job to simply to "Trust and Obey."

Stress

Hello Everyone,

Stress is nothing new. Noah had it when he was building the ark with no rain in sight. Martha had it when she was preparing a meal for our Lord. Think about this, stress is the gap between the demands placed on us and the strength we have in meeting those demands. It is not a sin to be stressed, nor a sin to be weary. It is a sin, though, to keep stressing over the same things. When you learn to wait on God, God steps in to bridge the stress gap with His mighty strength.
Ask God to equip you to be a stress buster today. Who knows who could use you help when they are "stress out."

"But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." Isaiah 40:31

Cash it

Hello Everyone,

A story was told to me about a beggar stopped a lawyer on the street and asked him for a quarter. Taking a long, hard look into the man's unshaven face, the attorney asked, "Don't I know you from somewhere?" "You should," came the reply. "I'm your former classmate." "Why Sam, of course I know you!" Without further question the lawyer wrote a check for $100. "Here, take this and get a new start. I don't care what's happened in the past, it's the future that counts." And with that he hurried on. Tears welled up in the man's eyes as he walked to a bank nearby. Stopping at the door, he saw through the glass well-dressed tellers and the spotlessly clean interior. Then he looked at his filthy rags. "They won't take this from me. They'll swear that I forged it," he muttered as he turned away. The next day the two men met again. "Why Sam, what did you do with my check? Gamble it away? Drink it up?" "No," said the beggar as he pulled it out of his dirty shirt pocket and told why he hadn't cashed it. "Listen, friend," said the lawyer. "What makes that check good is not your clothes or appearance, but my signature. Go on, cash it!"
The Bible makes it clear that "Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." That promise is a "negotiable note" of infinite value. As sinners, all we need to do is "exchange" it by faith for eternal life. Don't let the "tattered clothes" of your past keep you from cashing God's "check" of salvation.

Do you Really Care?

Hello Everyone,

I was presented a book form a dear lady of the church entitled, "Why do CATS do that?" It is a book about the real answers to the curious things cats do. Oh yea, and it comes with training tips. Written by Kim Thornton. Some of the topics are: "Why do cats purr?" Why do cats sleep so much?" "Why do cats spend so much time grooming?" and my favorite "Why do cats hate getting wet?" Honestly, I have not taking the time nor try to read this book. Why? Because it doesn't matter to me nor concerns me. As many folks would say, "I don't care!" Really I just don't care. They do what God tells them to do, all animals do. It is man that falls short.

Happy Ending

Hello Everyone,

A little boy was offered the opportunity to select a dog for his birthday present. At the pet store, he was shown a number of puppies. From them he picked one whose tail was wagging furiously. When he was asked why he selected that particular dog, the little boy said, "I wanted the one with the happy ending."
For everyone, that is the desire to have a life with a happy ending. God wants the same thing for each one of you. If you are to have a happy ending you have no choice but to accept Jesus Christ as your personal Savior. For Jesus is the only way to Heaven and Happy endings.

Praise God

Hello Everyone,

You ever get the thought that maybe now you can get a little ahead. You know, it is when you think that everything is fixed and working right. All your bills are all caught up and the vehicles are running smooth. No problems! Then you look at some water that has gathered on the floor, thinking that someone let an ice cube escape, so you wipe it up and a drip of water hits you in the head. It is then, while looking up, that the ceiling is dripping water in a place where no water is suppose to coming. No wait, then you noticed that the whole ceiling is soaked from where it has been dripping for some time now. One of the hardest thing to do now is smile and Praise God. To God be the Glory for God does all things well.
