Being a Winner

Hello Everyone,
A winner feels responsible for more than his job; while a loser will say, "I only work here.” When a winner says, "There ought to be a better way to do it" a loser will say, "That's the way it's always been done here." Let us all be winners for Jesus Christ. Even if that isn’t the way we always used to do it.

“Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.” Psalms 37:5

Coming Out

Hello Everyone,
Today's young women are more likely to become depressed than their mothers were and at a younger age. The main reasons that were given were: increased economic pressure to contribute to family income,  changing role in society, the inability to meet their own expectations, and a sense of having lost control. All the more reason to come out from among them, study the Bible and follow God.

“Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,”  2 Corinthians 6:17

Vocal Cords

Hello Everyone,
Did you know that a woman's vocal cords are shorter than a man's. Women can actually speak with less effort than men do. Shorter vocal cords not only cause a woman's voice to be more highly pitched, but also require less air to become agitated, making it possible for her to talk more with less energy. Now you know the rest of the story.

“There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.” Psalms 19:3

Memorial Day

Hello Everyone.
Thanks to all our veterans may God Bless and watch over each and everyone of them.

Here is a verse of Scripture to remember this Memorial Day. Let us never forget the greatest sacrifice of all this Memorial Day

"Thy name, O LORD, endureth for ever; and thy memorial, O LORD, throughout all generations."  Psalms 135:13

Complete in Him

Hello Everyone,
But a child of God is kept, guaranteed, protected, assured, anchored, adopted, accepted, redeemed, forgiven, sealed, purchased, and exalted. Praise the Lord - Hallelujah, what a Saviour!!! We are complete in Him.

“And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:” Colossians 2:10

I am glad I am saved

Hello Everyone,
The believer is both, Saved by the blood, and Safe under the blood!! A Christian remarked, "I'm glad I'm saved," to which a friend replied, "I'm glad I'm saved and safe in Christ."

“The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.”
Proverbs 18:10

Gathering Wisdom

Hello Everyone,
I have always told my sons that wisdom helps a man that learns from the mistakes of others. Nobody lives long enough to make them all himself. So gather as much information you can from the mistakes of others.

“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.”  Psalms 111:10

A Winner

Hello Everyone,
A winner is a Christian that allows God to help them go through a problem. And we all have problems. However, a loser never gets past it, because they are trying to found a way around it.

“That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:”
1 Peter 1:7

The Winner

Hello Everyone,
A winner works harder than a loser and has the time or makes the time. A loser is always "too busy" to do what is necessary and time is always never enough.

“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:” Ecclesiastes 3

Winners or Losers

Hello Everyone,
I have found that when a winner makes a mistake, he says, "I was wrong"; when a loser makes a mistake, he says, "It wasn't my fault." Would you agree?

“Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.”  James 5:16

Out of Sight

Hello Everyone,
I want to share with you something that I read from an old  Army Manual: "Tent pegs, aluminum, 9-inch, NSN 8340-00- 261-9749, must be painted orange. The bright color provides an easy means of locating the pegs under various light and climatic conditions during field use. When bright orange pegs are used, they must be driven into the ground completely out of sight." Reminds me of some Christians.

“No man, when he hath lighted a candle, putteth it in a secret place, neither under a bushel, but on a candlestick, that they which come in may see the light.”  Luke 11:33

What If?

Hello Everyone,
I ran into a fellow who was overly concerned about something that did not happen but could have. I guessed that he was frustrated with the "What ifs" The crazy thing about “what ifs” is that it never happened.

“For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.”   Romans 3:3,4

Hello Everyone,
Measure wealth not by the things you have, but by the things you have for which you would not take money. You will see that you are very rich indeed.

“Every man also to whom God hath given riches and wealth, and hath given him power to eat thereof, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labour; this is the gift of God.”
Ecclesiastes  5:19

A Solution

Hello Everyone,
The best place any Christian can ever be in is to be totally destitute and totally dependent upon God, and know it. Far too often we are busy trying to figure out a solution.

“For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.”  John 6:38

Water Needed

Hello Everyone,
The body needs about 3 quarts of water a day to operate efficiently. It helps break up and soften food. The blood, which is 90 percent H2O carries nutrients to the cells. As a cooling agent, water regulates our temperature through perspiration. And without its lubricating properties, our joints and muscles would grind and creak like unused parts of some old rusty machinery. That is what is meant by a well oiled machine.

“O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;”  Psalms 63:1

Trash Collection

Hello Everyone,
I read a humorous story about a woman who fell out of a second-floor window and landed in a slow-moving garbage truck. Half-buried in the litter, she tried without success to get the truck-driver's attention. A foreign diplomat standing on the sidewalk saw her and remarked, "There is another example of how wasteful Americans are. That woman looks like she's good for at least another 10 years."
Think about all the many lives that are being wasted for the trash of this world. May we be found faithful to pull them out of the filth and show them Jesus.

“He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.”  Psalms 40:2

Warning Signs

Hello Everyone,
I saw a sign on a fence post one day while out hunting and it read. “The farmer doesn’t care if you cross the pasture but the BULL charges.” Well that was good enough for me. I had not plans to cross that fence,  but it was settled for sure now. God does the same thing for us in life, signs that warns us to stop or caution. Do you have it settled in your heart?

“For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.”  Psalms 119:89

Needing

Hello Everyone,
My wife went into a place and the clerk asked if she could help. And I wife said, “I need ______.” The clerk smile and said, “You don’t need you want.” My wife smiled and told her she was right. One must remember that not ever want is a need. God knows our wants and needs.

“Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.” Matthew 6:8

Keep Moving

Hello Everyone,
How many folks are waiting on God in some area of their life? Waiting is the hard part, for some and others it is  just another day. However waiting for God is not to be lazy. Waiting for God is not going to sleep and abandoning our efforts.  Waiting for God means, first, activity under command; second, readiness for any new command that may come; third, the ability to do something until the command is given. Amen!

“I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.”  Psalms 130:5
