Don't Wait

One of those Days

Hello Everyone,  
I was watching this fellow who had jumped off his ladder. Upon jumping his ladder and everything else fell as well. He turned and closed his eyes and then opened then hoping that it was all a bad dream. Nope still there. He then prayed "Dear God, I pray this didn't happen." But the mess was still there. So he closed his eyes, squinted real hard, looked again from a different angle. But it was still there. Ever had one of those days?

Bushes have Thorns

Hello Everyone,
I have been working on a new ramp / sidewalk beside my house. It is where we have the Rose Bushes. These rose bushes are beautiful to look at but they sure can scratch. I found myself more than once complaining about those thrones. I should not be upset that rosebushes have thorns but that those thorn bushes have roses.

New Engine

Hello Everyone,  
If I had a car with the engine that was ready for the grave, I'd have a new engine put in. I'd take the car into a mechanic who would put it in for me. If when I got that car back, it ran just as poorly, I'd begin to wonder if the old really had been replaced or just cleaned up. Is it not the same with our new lives in Christ?

Sleeping Troubles

I had a fellow share with me that he was having trouble sleeping at night. I asked if there was anything troubling him. Well…,  It is better to sleep on what you plan to do than to be kept awake by what you've done.

Taking Advantage of God

There is a certainty that ever Christian has taking advantage of God.    And I have four reason why.
1) No fear of God.  2) No real love for God.  3) Forget that God knows all things.  4) God’s amazing Grace

Single Men

Single men are jailed more often, earn less, have more illnesses and die at a younger age than married men. Married men with cancer live 20% longer than single men with the same cancer. Well there is nothing more to say. A wife is a blessing of God.

I was talking to this fellow, and I asked if he was right about a statement he made. He told me that he was wrong once but later found out that he was wrong about that. So he has never been wrong. Not according to the Word of God!

Venting

Hello Everyone,
Have you ever allowed someone to cross in front of you while in your car. Only to have them to take their time to getting across the street. I know that we are to yield the right away to pedestrians. But should they not be more aware of the line of cars that they are holding up. With the higher prices of gas, it cost drivers to have to sit through another long light. Just venting!

Don't Be Surprised

Hello Everyone,
Do you rush and have to push yourself to get going on Sunday mornings? Do you complain about church? Are you irregular in your attendance? Do you always criticize the pastor, the choir or maybe the length of services? Then don't be surprised if your children grow up to look at Sundays as the worst day of the week.
