Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat: All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not. For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers. But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments,  Matthew 23:2-5

Way too often, folks have a religion that it is to be seen of men.

Love Your Neighbor

Hello Everyone,
Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.  Matthew 22:36-40

Shows us how little we really love our neighbors. Amen?

Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done. And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.  Matthew 21:21-22

A lot of doubting in our prayers for sure.

Call Out

  
Hello Everyone,
And, behold, two blind men sitting by the way side, when they heard that Jesus passed by, cried out, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou Son of David. And the multitude rebuked them, because they should hold their peace: but they cried the more, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou Son of David.   Matthew 20:30-31

The need for the blind to call out for Jesus grows more everyday. And keep calling out until you have His attention.

Strong Love

Hello Everyone,
And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children or lands, for my name’s sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.  Matthew 19:29

It should be that our love for Jesus should be so strong that our love for others has a look of forsaken.

Dont depend on your Riches

Hello Everyone,
Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven. And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.  Matthew 19:23-24

Now that is something to think about. Not that the rich man can not be saved. Its just that the rich man depends on and lean on their riches more so than God.

Not Enough
