Some of the happiest folks I know do not have nearly as much as some of the most miserable folks I know. Which would seem to indicate that the more you have the more it robs you of your joy. The beginning of joy comes when you make the best of the things that you do have. Great or small.
“Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.” Psalms 32:11
