Remember in the old days when a news reel was playing, everyone would crowd around and listen. Each person doing their best to hear. Getting as close and as quiet as possible. Everyone wanted to hear. No one wanted to get it second hand, they wanted to the news themselves. It was that way with God’s Word. What has happened in these days where folks don’t draw near and stand for the Word of God?
“And they brought that which Moses commanded before the tabernacle of the congregation: and all the congregation drew near and stood before the LORD.’ Leviticus 9:5
