Hello Everyone,
God had called Abram to leave the land of Ur and go to the land of Canaan. What is important for you to understand is how hard of a request that was for Abram. God had asked him to leave his country, his religion and his family. Now think about that. God wanted Abram to give up his comfort, get away from his up bring and abandon his family. Would you have gone? Many would so no, but here is what they would have miss out on, the Blessing of God and knowing that you are in God's will.
"Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will show thee: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed." Genesis 12:1-3
Remember Always, "God does all things well."
